The truth is that boudoir isn't reserved for a certain age, size, shape, or stage of life. You don't need to know how to pose, feel comfortable in front of a camera, or even consider yourself confident. That's what we're here for. Our team will guide you through every step of the experience and ensure you feel supported from the moment you walk through our doors. It's not your job to be photogenic. It's ours. Most of our clients have never done a professional photoshoot before and don't know how to pose, where to look, or what to do with their hands. That's completely normal. Our photographers will guide you through every expression, movement, and pose throughout the session. You'll never be expected to know what to do on your own. In fact, many of the portraits our clients love most are created in moments when they weren't thinking about the camera at all. Being photogenic isn't a talent you're born with. It's the result of great lighting, expert direction, and a photographer who knows how to bring out the best in you.

No. Your privacy is extremely important to us. FABLE will never share, publish, or display your portraits without your explicit written permission. Every client has the opportunity to decide how their portraits may be used, if at all, and that decision is entirely yours. Upon arrival at the studio, you'll complete a release form that outlines your privacy preferences. Whether you choose to keep your portraits completely private or allow us to share select images, your wishes will always be respected. We are fully committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of every client who trusts us with their story.

Absolutely. Professional hair and makeup artistry is included with every FABLE session. We work with a talented team of experienced artists who specialize in creating beautiful, camera-ready looks that photograph exceptionally well while still feeling like you. During your styling consultation, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your preferences, inspiration, and comfort level so we can create a look that aligns with your vision. Whether you prefer something soft and natural, bold and glamorous, or somewhere in between, our artists will work with you to create a look that helps you feel confident, beautiful, and ready for your session. Our goal is for you to sit down in the makeup chair feeling excited, and step away feeling like the very best version of yourself.

Most FABLE sessions last approximately 2 to 3 hours, including your professional hair and makeup application and the photography portion of the experience. We never rush the process. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, confident, and fully supported throughout your time with us while creating a variety of beautiful portraits. Approximately one week after your session, you'll return to the studio for your private portrait reveal and ordering appointment. This appointment typically lasts about an hour and is where you'll view your portraits for the first time, select your favourites, and choose the artwork you'd like our artists to finish in FABLE's signature fine art style.
